WTF Is Knock Knock?

Knock Knock is an independent maker of products that bring wit, heart, productivity (and occasional light profanity) to everyday life. Our pads, planners, journals, and books help people accomplish their goals, express their feelings, and laugh at the absurdity of modern existence.

We live by (at least) two mottos: “We Put the Fun in Functional” and “Make a List—You’ll Feel Better.” We consider list-making and laughter to be essential forms of self-care. (And, obvs, we love mottos.)

Knock Knock was founded in 2002 by Jen Bilik, and in 2018 we joined forces with Em & Friends (formerly known as Emily McDowell & Friends). Our team of 25(ish) good humans is small but mighty. Together, we form the Who’s There Group—two woman-owned brands under one kickass umbrella!

Welcome to Handbrewed Soaps, a soap company that is on a mission to remind you to brew your best life (one bar at a time!) We brew our best by providing 50% of all our profits from our Sober Soaps line and Merch to those in recovery. Four bars of soap for everyone bar of 'Keep Oakland Healthy' soap purchased goes to local shelters and non profits in Oakland.

Our mission is to provide great products that make people happy and support an important cause. A portion of our profit is donated to ActiveMinds.org, impacting Mental Health education, research, advocacy, and creating a lasting change in the way mental health is talked about and treated in society.

In 2011 I founded my label as a small hobby. Over a short period of time I got a lot of requests from local retailers in Berlin and the company grew, so soon it was no longer just a sideline. My vision has always been to design products that inspire and honor the creative life. Over the years, I've dabbled in many different printing techniques and also love giving craft more space in my company. A few years ago, I wanted to live closer and more connected to nature and moved the studio to the countryside in the Mecklenburg Lake District. The highest priority for me is to live in harmony with creativity and nature. Also in the illustrations you can always find stars and celestial bodies that inspire me.

Mental Health matters so much to me and that’s why I want to spread positivity and promote well being. I try to create products that make people smile even in the darkest of times... I have achieved many things that I am so grateful for in this short time of trading such as meeting HRH Prince Charles to speak about my business, being selected for ‘Business Wales Start Up Awards’ and being featured on ITV news. My aim is to help as many people as I can with a mental health condition through Creativity!

by Molly&Izzie has grown over the last 6 years to become a brand well known for high quality design led wish bracelets, jewellery and gifts. From our studio in the Cumbrian countryside our team of Wish Makers and Laser Engravers handmake or finish nearly all of our products. Where possible we use locally sourced materials and support other local small businesses. Combining modern styling with quirky and sentimental messages our creative team are constantly adding new products to ensure that our ranges stay current and in demand. All of our design led products offer a sense of cohesion across a varied range of price points and are registered and protected by copyright law. We have pledged to reduce plastic use by 50% by the end of 2021 and have already achieved 33% of this. Alongside our standard ranges of products we also offer an eco range which is fully recyclable and plastic free and all of our wish bracelets and stretch bracelets are available 'naked' and plastic free on request. We love to work with companies large and small to create bespoke versions of our products. This service is available totally free of charge and with very low minimum quantities. We also offer a choice of high quality, branded display solutions to compliment our products.

Karalani Cross believes in creating a more beautiful world through sharing gifts from nature with others while supporting environmentally sustainable practices. Worthwhile Paper is a collection of lively screen printed paper goods for lovers of nature, magic and meaningful design. All of our designs are thoughtfully hand drawn and printed with love, recycled paper & earth-friendly materials in Ypsilanti, Michigan. In every design you will find a a unique blend of nature & minimalism, combining the likes of simple shapes, bold patterns, symbolism, nature, and love. Worthwhile Paper plants one tree for each order in partnership with a non-profit.

In 2005 Alana and Bianca Alicea discussed the idea for an all-handmade jewelry company that could have unique stylish designs while still being American made. With a background in jewelry design and hailing from Rhode Island, which was once known as "The Jewelry Capital of the World", both women decided to put their innovative skills to good use and help bring manufacturing back to the states. Years later they expanded to a full bath, beauty, and candle line as well. With the expansion of their fundraising program ChubbyChicoCharms has helped thousands of organizations raise millions of dollars in much needed funds for education, illness awareness, children's groups, sports teams and so many more. None of this would have been possible without dedication, hard work, a tight knit family, and a strong mother/daughter team.
